Fiber Laser

Fiber laser is a laser in which the active gain medium is an optical fiber doped with rare-earth elements such as erbium, ytterbium, neodymium, thulium and holmium etc. We at Markolaser have short pulsed laser such as picoseconds and femtoseconds for micro-machining application. Read More..

CO2 Laser

In CO2 Laser the laser light takes place within the molecules of carbon dioxide.  Carbon dioxide lasers are one of the highest-power continuous wave lasers. The CO2 Laser are quite efficient and the ratio of output power to pump power would be as close as 20%. The c laser produces a beam of infra red light. Read More..

Green Laser

Green Laser A green laser has 532 nm wavelength and fall under visible (green) spectrum. One of the advantages of green laser is that it is better absorbed by highly reflective materials. Read More..

U.V. laser

In U.V laser Ultraviolet lasers fall in the range of invisible light wavelengths of 150 to 400 nm. Ultraviolet lasers are classified as three main: Solid state Q-Switched, gas and metal vapour. Read More..

Before Selecting your Laser Machine, We need to know the 3W's

What to execute: This defines the dataset/ artwork to be marked

The source of data can be one for an instance and the other source can be used for the next instance. The data is to be defined such as a data set in the form of text, image, data set in a predefined syntax such as an .ai, .dxf and other. The data/artwork file should be compatible to import in Markomark software.

Where to execute: This defines the surface/object to be marked

The surface/object can be flat, cylindrical, curved/free-form, but we have to pre-define the surface in case of fully automation line. There can be multiple surface/object but we need some way to identify which surface/object is going to the machine for processing such as a QR/BAR code can help in identification of surface if there are many. There has to be a predefined way of taking the surface/object to the processing zone such as pick & place mechanism or conveyor mechanism or manual placement.

When to execute: This defines the conditions for the event of marking

The marking is to be done on the particular surface/object and is to be of the same data which operator has selected. There can be multiple conditions such as part presence, correct part presence, artwork compatibility for the part loaded, any other event which may control the event of marking. Or a simple operator triggered marking can be done.

Apart from 3W's you should to be aware about the response your material towards laser wavelength. most of the metals responds well to the 1060 nm Fiber Laser whereas Wood & Fabric type of materials are best processed by 10.6 micron CO2 laser. Glass can be processed with 532 nm

Green Laser and almost all plastics can be marked using 355nm UV Lasers.

It is always better to test your material against laser wavelength. We are always having all these lasers ready at our application center, you are welcome to send your material for test and sampling at our Application center.

For more information complete the form below; we will contact you as soon as possible to discuss your requirements.
